| June 9, 2022 – Recognition Day is a chance for the community to honor students as a group and as individuals who will receive awards in academics, athletics, the arts, leadership, and more. Some of these are named awards and are one small way for us, as a community, to thank a number of people who have been a big part of our school’s history. We all stop on this special day and think about those who have had an impact on this 85-year-old school and celebrate the founding mission which lives on to this day.
Details: Students arrive at regular time. This is the last day of school for the Beginner, Pre-K, and Kindergarten classes. At 9:30 a.m., we will begin the school-wide Recognition Day, when each class is recognized and awards are given out. Parents, family members, and friends of all students should plan on attending this special and moving day. Student attire for the day is a dress, collared shirt, blouse, skirt, nice pants or dress shorts. After the ceremony, students go to their homerooms where they are dismissed to their parents. Students should bring a change of clothes for the picnic, following the ceremony. For students whose parents cannot attend the picnic, ASK Club will be available. Please notify Mr. Dan if you will be utilizing ASK Club by emailing ask@pinecobble.org by June 1st. Please, no jeans or sneakers for this event.
