Pine Cobble School Announces New Scholarships
WILLIAMSTOWN, MA, October 1, 2018. Pine Cobble School is pleased to announce the availability of new scholarships. Students from the northern Berkshires, southern Vermont, and eastern New York are encouraged to apply.
The scholarships are open to new students entering grades K-9, cover a portion of the annual tuition (excluding activity fees), and will apply to the tuition for each academic year the student attends Pine Cobble School, providing the student remains in good standing.
Scholarships will be awarded to new applicants who demonstrate strong potential to live the principles described in Pine Cobble’s mission: lifelong passion for learning, a strong sense of self-worth, and respect for others.
“Pine Cobble offers not only an outstanding education,” says Sue Wells, head of school, “it also provides a warm, welcoming community for students of all backgrounds. These scholarships allow us to make this education and experience accessible to even more students.”
The exact amount of each scholarship will be determined based on the total number of qualified applicants and the needs of students. These scholarships do not preclude additional financial aid; the School will make every effort to ensure that all qualified students are able to attend.
Pine Cobble School offers tremendous opportunities to students from Berkshire County and the surrounding areas. Our academic program is dynamic, engaging, and highly individualized. Powerful enrichment opportunities include a strong focus on the arts, an inclusive athletic program, and an array of extracurricular experiences.
These scholarships require a formal application.
Anyone who is curious about whether Pine Cobble might be a good fit for their child can contact Nicole Goswami, director of admission and marketing. “Pine Cobble is a very different school experience,” says Goswami. “Again and again, I hear from parents and alumni that Pine Cobble isn’t simply a great school, it’s also a wonderful place to be a child.”
